Frequently Asked Questions
-
Allhands is a local marketplace for the people who make, teach, host, and gather in your community. It brings handmade goods, classes, events, studios, and clubs together in one place, and what you see is based on where you are, so you're discovering what's actually around you.
-
Not yet. We're building Allhands and gathering our founding providers before launch. Sign up now to be one of the first, and we'll keep you posted as we get closer. We’re expecting to launch in the fall of 2026.
-
People will choose a location and one shared discovery radius from 1 to 50 miles. That setting will guide Shop, Events, Classes, and Clubs together. Results inside the selected radius will appear first. When local supply is limited, Allhands may show the nearest clearly labeled options outside the preferred radius, but never beyond 50 miles.
-
Independent makers, shops, event hosts, instructors, studios, spaces, and club organizers can submit an interest form. Each provider role has its own application and approval process so Allhands can maintain accurate, trustworthy local listings.
-
Yes. Maker, Event Host, Studio or Instructor, and Club Organizer are separate approvals. A subscription or bundle does not automatically grant permission to operate in a domain. Approved providers can apply to add additional roles later.
-
Allhands provides native tools to create listings, accept payments or bookings, manage customers, and operate directly on the platform. Connections are optional for businesses that prefer to keep using their existing platform.
-
Your products can appear on Allhands while staying connected to the platform you already use.
Shopify: Customers complete checkout through your Shopify store. Allhands charges 0% additional percentage-based platform commission on Shopify purchases; your Maker Pro subscription and standard Shopify fees apply.
Square: Eligible food-and-drink businesses can connect their Square catalog and inventory to Allhands. Purchases are processed through Square and use the standard Maker Pro platform fee, plus Square payment-processing fees.
-
You’re still welcome. You can import your catalog with a CSV file or create listings directly on Allhands from scratch. Shopify and Square are the supported store connections, while businesses on other platforms can still use Allhands through native listings or CSV import.
-
Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
-
Yes. Alongside anything you sync, you can create listings that live only on Allhands. Those are yours to manage right here.
-
Hosts can sell tickets through Allhands or link out to an external ticketing page, listing by listing. Instructors and studios can take bookings directly through Allhands, connect a supported Mindbody account to sync class information and submit bookings back to Mindbody, or use native Allhands class tools from scratch.
-
Fill out the interest form and we'll reach out personally. No commitment, and no spam, ever.
-
We read every response ourselves and follow up to learn about you and your work, and to get you ready for launch.
-
No. The form simply lets us learn about you and keep you informed about the San Diego launch. There is no obligation to join, and we will not send unrelated marketing messages.
